Success – Approved Application and Transport Statement Technical Note in Surrey
In May Kronen was appointed to provide transport planning assistance in response to Surrey County Council Transportation Development Control Division holding objection to an active planning application at Fornham, Stonehill Road, Ottershaw, Surrey, KT16 0ER. The site comprised a house with various outbuildings. The proposal was for a replacement dwelling and to refurbish outbuildings for Bed & Breakfast uses. The active planning application was Runnymede Borough Council planning reference RU.17/0742. As Local Highway Authority Surrey County Council Transportation Development Control Division requested further justification or would raise an objection to the application. Kronen prepared a Transport Statement Technical Note assessing: site access, operational and guest uses of the proposal, “first principles approach” rather than TRICS “database approach” trip generation projections, compliance with Development Plan plan (e.g. Policy MV4 Access and Circulation Arrangements of Local Plan Saved Policies (Runnymede Borough Council, 2007)). Success – Approved Application and Transport Statement, Greenford, Ealing
London Borough of Ealing approve an application for a new two-storey building, new vehicle access and new car park to facilitate a two-form expansion and a new Additional Resourced Provisions facility for 20 Special Educational Needs pupils at Greenford High School, Lady Margaret Road, Southall, UB1 2GU. The application was supported by Kronen Limited’s Transport Statement. Approved Application and Parking Survey in Bromley
Towards the end of last year Kronen were instructed by Price & Myers to support a new replacement training centre at St Christopher’s Hospice, Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham, London, SE26 6DZ (in the London Borough of Bromley). The instruction was for a Parking Survey to assess the on-street parking impacts of the proposals as part of a Transport Assessment.
