Approval – Approved Application and Transport Statement in Croydon

Croydon Council recently approved a new residential development. The application site was 19 Box Ridge Avenue, Purley, CR8 3AS. Kronen assisted Lumiere Property from initial feasibility, two rounds of pre-app and full planning (Transport Statement) up to the application determination; RIBA Plan of Work Stages 1 to 3. The application sought approval for an apartment block comprising 8 × apartments. The proposed schedule of accommodation is 3 × 1-bedroom, 3 × 2-bedroom and 2 × 3-bedroom apartments. The proposal retained the existing vehicle access to serve 4 × off-street vehicle spaces. Croydon Council’s planning application reference was 18/04762/FUL. Success – Approved Application and Parking Survey, East Sheen, Richmond

The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames approve a planning application for five flats and commercial space (reconfigurations) on Upper Richmond Road West in East Sheen. The application was supported by Kronen’s on-street parking surveys carried out in accordance with London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames’ informal parking survey guidance. The proposal was for alterations and extensions to create five flats and amended ground floor commercial space without off-street parking (due to the physical constraints of the site), accordingly the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the parking survey report The on-street parking surveys found well parked streets as such robust transport planning justification using detailed local Census and Development Plan analysis was required. Approval – Approved Application and Transport Statement Reigate & Banstead

Kronen have recently worked with Lumiere Property / Pellings / Robinson Escott Planning on pre-app and full planning proposals for a site on Epsom Lane South (within Reigate & Banstead Borough Council). The proposal sought a new dwelling with the formation of new access and off-street parking. The main transport issues for the proposal were new site access, site layout and parking provisions. The proposals were supported by a Transport Statement Technical Note. The full planning application was recently approved. Success – Approved Application and Parking Survey in Coulsdon

Croydon Council approve a planning application for a new apartment block comprising 6 × dwellings in Coulsdon. The application was supported by Kronen’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). The proposals’ potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the Parking Survey report The Parking Survey justified the proposal in accordance with the Development Plan policies and the National Planning Policy Framework (DCLG, 2018).
