Approved Commercial Use Application and Transport Technical Note in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham

KRONEN have recently worked on full planning proposals for the expansion of Simple Self Drive, a vehicle hire business in Chadwell Heath in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. The planning application proposed the construction of a part one and part two storey extension to provide new commercial floor space. At pre-app LB Barking & Dagenham requested a “Travel / Logistics Plan”. In response KRONEN provided a Transport Technical Note outlining business operations and transport implications of the scheme. The full planning application was recently approved. Approval – Approved Application and Transport Statement in Hart District Council

KRONEN have recently worked with Rowan Orchid Architects on full planning proposals for a site near Blackwater (within Hart District Council). The proposal site comprises a locally listed farm house that has been significantly damaged through fire and exposed to the elements for a number of years. The proposal sought 3 × 4-bedroom dwellings: bringing the farm house back to use with alterations and extensions and 2 × new build dwellings. The main transport issues for the proposal were vehicle parking, access, layout and refuse servicing. The proposals were supported by a Transport Statement Technical Note. Approved Application and Transport Statement in Hertsmere for Boreham Wood Football Club

Yesterday Hertsmere Borough Council Planning Committee approved an application for Boreham Wood Football Club at Meadow Park, Broughinge Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 5AL. Hertsmere Borough Council planning application reference was “20/1931/FUL” for the: “Formation of new vehicle access ramp and crossover, additional and replacement vehicle parking, creation of new fan zone with turnstiles, toilets and burger bar, associated alterations to boundary walls and fences.” KRONEN have been assisting Boreham Wood FC since 2015 with various master planning activities. Boreham Wood FC has realistic hopes of reaching the Football League having reached play-offs twice in recent seasons. Meadow Park currently has a capacity of approximately 4,000 spectators. Boreham Wood FC would need Meadow Park to increase spectator capacity to 5,000 spectators, including 2,000 seated spectators, and various ancillary facilities to meet Football League entry requirements. Approved Residential Application and Parking Survey in Purley

Last week Croydon Council approved a planning application for alterations and extensions to a 3-bedroom detached bungalow to create 5 × apartments; the scheme retains the existing vehicle access and 1 × garage parking space. KRONEN were working alongside Barnes Design (architects and agents). The application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). Croydon Council’s planning reference for the approval was “20/01691/FUL” for the “Demolition of the existing roof, and erection of a first floor extension with hipped roof over to create a two-storey building, associated alterations for the conversion of dwelling to provide 5 units with associated landscaping, refuse and cycle storage” at Windsor Lodge, Purley Rise, Purley, CR8 3AW.
