Approved Prior Approval Application and Transport Statement in Welwyn Hatfield

Earlier this month Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council granted permission for a new Class ZA prior approval application seeking the demolition of existing offices and development of residential accommodation comprising 10 × flats. The application site was Sylvia Adams House, 24 The Common, Hatfield, AL10 0NB. Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s planning application reference was “6/2020/3226/PN32”. (Image: DAP) KRONEN were working with Lavata Group (planning) and DAP (architects). The planning application was supported by KRONEN’s Transport Statement. The main issue for the Transport Statement was justifying a restrained parking provision. All work was delivered on-time and within budget. Approved Office Development and Transport Planning Consultant Services in Richmond

Last month London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames approved an office redevelopment in Richmond. The application site was 84 Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, TW9 2HS. The site comprises “Independence House”, a late 1980s office building. William Grant & Sons had occupied the building for over 20 years as a regional headquarters before recently relocating to new premises at The Old Court in Richmond. Consequently, Independence House is currently unoccupied. The proposal sought to “retrofit and extend the existing building to CAT A fit-out level” London Borough of Richmond’s planning application references was “20/3359/FUL”.
