APPROVED APPLICATION ON MAYBANK ROAD IN SOUTH WOODFORD – SUPPORTED BY KRONEN’S TRANSPORT STATEMENT
KRONEN have supported proposals that were recently approved by LB Redbridge in South Woodford. The proposals sought demolition of houses and flats at 120 to 126 Maybank Road and the construction of a new building providing a total of 28 × apartments. The proposals rationalised 3 × existing vehicle accesses and provided a restrained 16 × parking space parking provision. Proposals needed to be justified in terms of relatively low PTAL 2 accessibility, access / servicing restraints (as the site is bounded by an off slip of the North Circular A406, part of the TLRN), absence of Controlled Parking Zone, high parking stress on streets surrounding the site and typical transport matters relating to a major planning application. Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council approve an application for a residential development on The Common in Hatfield. KRONEN were working alongside Lavata Group planning and DAP Architecture. The application was supported by KRONEN’s transport planning consultant services and Transport Statement. We advised the project team on access changes, reduced car parking provisions and cycle parking design. The proposal was for 8 × apartments with 2 × off-street parking spaces.
