APPROVED APPLICATION AND TRANSPORT STATEMENT IN ROSE HILL
A couple of months ago Sutton Council granted permission for a residential development on Rosehill in Rose Hill. Application ref “DM2022/00615”. The proposal sought the “Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a part two, part three and part five storey building containing 17 flats along with parking, cycle/refuse stores and hard and soft landscaping”. The site was Land at 102 to 104 Rose Hill Sutton. The site comprised 2 × buildings historically used as a builders merchant and tool shop then subsequently a cafe and retail shop (although now vacant with the site is enclosed by hoardings). The proposal included the demolition of the existing buildings and construct a 17 × apartment block comprising 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. APPROVED APPLICATION AND TRANSPORT TECHNICAL NOTE IN FULHAM
KRONEN have supported Wimshurst Pelleriti’s recently approved proposals at St Michael’s Centre in Fulham. The proposals sought mixed use car free development with 285sqm floor space of community facilities and with 9 × apartments. We prepared a Transport Technical Note assessing sustainable travel, highways conditions, cycle parking, trip generations, refuse and transport impacts in response to a holding objection. LB Hammersmith and Fulham’s planning application ref was “2022/01707/FUL” for the “Partial demolition of the existing St Michael’s Centre with retention of the majority of building facades and the erection of one, three and four storey side extensions and roof extensions (including replacement of existing roof) resulting in a four storey building with rooms in the roof, for mixed use as a flexible community facility and 9 no. self-contained residential units, with associated cycle storage and refuse storage” at St Michael’s … Continue reading

APPROVED APPLICATION AND PARKING SURVEY IN DOVER
Dover District Council approve a change of use and alterations / extensions planning application for 4 × flats at a former pub (Three Cups Inn) on Crabble Hill in Dover. KRONEN were instructed to address Kent Highways’ holding objection consultation response. In response the application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with “Lambeth Methodology” (“Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note” (Lambeth Council, 2021)). As the proposal was for 4 × flats with no off-street parking spaces the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the parking survey report.
