Planning permission granted for 8 apartments at 244 Pampisford Road, South Croydon

KRONEN is pleased to announce that planning permission has been granted for Application “25/01578/FUL” for the “Alterations and extension to the existing residential apartment building to provide 8 no. apartments, with associated soft and hard landscaping” at 244 Pampisford Road, South Croydon, CR2 6FS. KRONEN prepared a Transport Statement in support of the application, providing the transport evidence needed to secure approval and help deliver much‑needed new homes in the area. The Transport Statement prepared by KRONEN focused on the key transport considerations for the site, with the principal work involving justifying restrained car parking provisions, new access, cycle parking and refuse / servicing arrangements. Our assessment demonstrated how a carefully managed approach to parking and access can support sustainable travel choices while meeting the operational needs of the development and the local highway authority. Planning Success in New Malden: KRONEN Helps Secure Approval for Residential Development at 19 High Street

KRONEN is pleased to announce that planning application “26/00254/FUL” has been approved by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, permitting the “Erection of mansard roof extensions and second floor rear extension over closet wing to provide 2nos. dwelling flats and erection of 1no. self-contained two-storey mews house at the rear (1 x 1 bed, 1 x 2 bed, 1 x 3 bed dwellings). Including amenity space, bin storage and bicycle parking” at 19 High Street, New Malden, KT3 4DQ. This approval represents a significant turnaround following the refusal of an earlier application, “25/02082/FUL”, for a comparable scheme. Working alongside Husband & Partners architects, KRONEN prepared a Transport … Continue reading →

Appeal allowed at Richmond Hill: Parking Survey transport and sustainability benefits help tip the balance

We are pleased to report that the Planning Inspectorate has allowed the appeal (reference “6002563”) against Richmond Council’s refusal of planning application “PA25/1389”, which sought permission for the reversion of four flats to a single-family dwelling, along with removal of a fire escape, replacement windows, and provision of refuse and cycle storage. The application was refused by the Council in June 2025, principally on the grounds of net housing loss under Local Plan Policy 14. Kronen was commissioned to prepare a Parking Survey in support of the scheme, demonstrating the transport, parking, and environmental benefits that would flow from the proposed change of use. The main issue The Inspector identified the central question as whether the loss of housing units proposed under the scheme was significantly outweighed by other factors, having regard to LP Policy 14. Our Parking Survey contributed to … Continue reading →
