ROSENDALE ROAD, DULWICH

In October 2019 Lambeth Council approved a planning application to demolish an existing building and construct a new building comprising a ground floor shop with 6 × residential flats and houses with no off-street vehicle parking provision near Dulwich. The application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). KRONEN’s Parking Survey report assessed the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact and justified the proposal in accordance with Development Plan policies and National Planning Policy Framework (MHCLG, 2019). Lambeth Council’s planning reference was “18/05166/FUL”. Land to the Rear of Whitehorse Road, Selhurst

Croydon Council approve a planning application for a split level partially buried 2-bedroom dwelling in Selhurst. The application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). The proposal was for 1 dwelling without off-street parking (due to the physical constraints of the site), accordingly the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the Parking Survey report The Parking Survey justified the proposal in accordance with Development Plan policies and National Planning Policy Framework (DCLG, 2012). Ashley Road, Hampton

KRONEN frequently carries out on-street parking surveys for smaller-scale planning applications. One example of this was a private residential development in Hampton in LB Richmond. The development did not include off-street parking and therefore providing accurate and reliable on-street parking surveys was a key part of the application’s success. Ashley Road parking surveys were undertaken in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note’ (Lambeth Council, 2012)) and local guidance ‘Richmond parking survey methodology’ (LB Richmond upon Thames, unpublished draft). The development was granted consent and LB Richmond officer’s highlighted the importance of the survey work in their Officer’s Report: “… the application includes a parking stress survey which shows that the free parking on Ashley Road is at worst 50% overnight.
