KRONEN have supported proposals that were recently approved by LB Redbridge in South Woodford.
The proposals sought demolition of houses and flats at 120 to 126 Maybank Road and the construction of a new building providing a total of 28 × apartments.
The proposals rationalised 3 × existing vehicle accesses and provided a restrained 16 × parking space parking provision.
Proposals needed to be justified in terms of relatively low PTAL 2 accessibility, access / servicing restraints (as the site is bounded by an off slip of the North Circular A406, part of the TLRN), absence of Controlled Parking Zone, high parking stress on streets surrounding the site and typical transport matters relating to a major planning application.
KRONEN were working for and alongside HAss Homes.
LB Redbridge planning application ref was “2623/22” for the “Demolish existing buildings. Erection of a new building ranging from two to five storeys to contain 28no. residential units with associated car parking, cycle storage, waste / refuse storage, solar panels and amenity space (roof terraces and balconies). (SOME MATTERS RESERVED)” at 120 to 126, Maybank Road, South Woodford, London.
