Approved Residential Application and Parking Survey at Marchmont Road, Richmond

Last month LB Richmond approved a planning application for a new dwelling. The application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). The proposal retained an existing access and parking space but the client was keen to avoid an on-street parking permit restriction which had been attached to other nearby approvals; accordingly the Parking Survey analysis specifically included assessment of survey results and the conditions and obligations “tests” set out in Paragraphs 55 and 56 of the National Planning Policy Framework.

LB Richmond’s planning reference for the approval was “20/3495/FUL” for the “Conversion of existing ancillary residential accommodation to a single-family dwelling house with minor external alterations, associated parking, refuse and cycle enclosures” at Land To Rear Of 24 Marchmont Road, Richmond, TW10 6HQ.
