Earlier this month Reigate & Banstead BC approved 2 × new dwellings in Reigate.
The application site was The Former Yew Tree Public House, 99 Reigate Hill, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9PJ.
Reigate & Banstead BC’s planning application reference was “21/00310/F”.
The formal description was: “Planning permission is sought for part single storey and part first floor rear extension and conversion of public house to form 2 self contained semi-detached dwellings with associated bins, landscaping, cycle lockers, parking and re-siting of access drop kerb”.
We were working alongside DB Planning and -12 Development.
KRONEN have been engaged on the site since early 2020 with an appeal for a larger redevelopment of the site currently ongoing. The transport planning work has included the assessment of: the existing site, the site’s accessibility using sustainable transport modes, the adjoining highway network, the proposals, the proposal’s parking, access to an A-road, TRICS traffic projections, transport impact and integration with planning policy and guidance.
