Approval – Approved Application and Parking Stress Study Croydon

Croydon Council approve a planning application for a new house on Lower Addiscombe Road in Croydon.

The application was supported by Kronen’s parking stress study report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)).

The proposal was for 1 dwelling without off-street parking (due to the physical constraints of the site), accordingly the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the parking stress study.

The parking stress study justified the proposal in accordance with Development Plan policies and National Planning Policy Framework.

Croydon’s planning reference was 18/02833; application site was 158 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 6AG.

(Note that a holding transport technical note is on the online case file for 18/02833, however the parking stress study report was submitted after the application was validated and consequently Croydon Council didn’t upload the parking stress study to the online case file.)

The developer of the site is Here Property Development (London) Limited. Stephen Spence, Acquisitions Director of  Here Property Development (London) Limited, has kindly provided the following testimonial for the parking work:

“Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter, your services were truly worth there weight in gold, you did a marvelous job and acted so professionally I would definitely recommend your company, I look forward to using your services in the future.”
