Enfield Council approve a planning application on The Link for the part retrospective subdivision of a house and extensions to provide 2 flats.
The application was a resubmission of refused application “20/00393/FUL” (not supported by KRONEN).
The recent and approved application was supported by KRONEN’s on-street parking surveys carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)).
The Officer’s Report highlights the importance of parking surveys in securing a “no objection” consultation response from local highways / transport officers:
” … given the low PTAL of the site (1b), a higher provision might be required for the development, the applicant has provided a parking stress survey demonstrating there is sufficient on-street parking availability for the development even with the creation of the additional vehicular access.”
Enfield Council’s planning reference was “20/02672/FUL” for the “Conversion of single family dwelling house into 2 self-contained flats involving external alterations and vehicular access (Part Retrospective)” at 16 The Link, Enfield, EN3 5HU.
