Kronen have recently worked with Undercurrent Architects on full planning proposals for a site in Finchley.
The site is triangular piece of vacant undeveloped land with a large central oak tree at Osborn Gardens / Devonshire Road / Aberdare Gardens.
In terms of planning the site had almost been sterilized for future applications by 3 recent refusals / dismissed appeals.
The proposal sought 3 dwellings with off-street parking.
The main transport issues addressed in the Transport Statement Technical Note for the proposal were the proposed shared surface new site accesses, site layout, parking provisions and traffic related amenity issues.
The full planning application was recently approved at LB Barnet planning committee.
The development will be known as “Oak Tree Mews” Finchley.
The LB Barnet application number was “18/2546/FUL”.
Didier Ryan of Undercurrent Architects has been kind enough to provide the following testimonial for the transport work:
“I contacted Kronen after seeing one of their transport reports online. I spoke with Alex and found him straightforward and easy to work and we began working together from that initial conversation. He was a pleasure to work with, had good ideas, provided a very professional service, and great communication throughout. He continued to follow the process all the way through to a successful planning approval. We would have no hesitation in recommending Kronen to others, and look forward to working together again in the future.”
