Success – Approved Application and Transport Statement in Gloucester

Recently the Forest of Dean District Council granted permission for a new residential development.

The application site was Land at Sedbury Lane, Tutshill, Chepstow, NP16 7DU.

The application site was vacant previously developed land.

The Forest of Dean District Council planning application reference was P0336/17/OUT.

The planning application was supported by Kronen Limited’s Transport Statement Technical Note.

Transport Statement Technical Note assessed proposal’s location, vehicle access and parking in accordance with Standing Advice-Technical Note 2nd Edition Proposed or Existing Residential Development – 5 dwellings or less (Gloucestershire CC, undated).

All work was delivered on-time and within budget.

The client for the project kindly provided the following testimonial:

“Kronen’s Transport Technical Note was used to support an outline planning application for a self-build property in Gloucestershire. The site was outside of the settlement boundary in contrast to Local Plan policy. Alex liaised with the Highways authority to confirm road classifications, Side Roads Orders, the extent of the public highway, and relevant transport policies for new developments. A bespoke document was then prepared to show compliance and sustainability of the proposal at this location, which helped to gain the support of officers prior to committee. We were impressed by Alex’s attention to detail and professional approach, and would be pleased to recommend Kronen to anyone with similar requirements in the future.”
