A couple of months ago Sutton Council granted permission for a residential development on Rosehill in Rose Hill.
Application ref “DM2022/00615”.
The proposal sought the “Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a part two, part three and part five storey building containing 17 flats along with parking, cycle/refuse stores and hard and soft landscaping”.
The site was Land at 102 to 104 Rose Hill Sutton.
The site comprised 2 × buildings historically used as a builders merchant and tool shop then subsequently a cafe and retail shop (although now vacant with the site is enclosed by hoardings).
The proposal included the demolition of the existing buildings and construct a 17 × apartment block comprising 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. The proposal retained 1 × vehicle access from Rose Hill serving a restrained 8 × off-street car parking spaces.

The planning application was supported by KRONEN’s Transport Statement.
The main issues for the Transport Statement included justifying a restrained parking provision and resolving the site layout.
All work was delivered on-time and within budget.
