Croydon Council approve a planning application for a split level partially buried 2-bedroom dwelling in Selhurst. The application was supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey report carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2012)). The proposal was for 1 dwelling without off-street parking (due to the physical constraints of the site), accordingly the potential for overspill parking and associated parking impact had to be assessed in the Parking Survey report The Parking Survey justified the proposal in accordance with Development Plan policies and National Planning Policy Framework (DCLG, 2012). Croydon Council recently approved a new residential development KRONEN were working on in Purley. We were working for Lumiere Property alongside Robinson Escott Planning (agent) and Pellings (designers). KRONEN assisted from initial feasibility, pre-application and full planning. The application site was 3 Olden Lane, Purley, CR8 2EH. The full planning application sought an apartment block comprising 8 × apartments. The proposed schedule of accommodation is 3 × 1-bedroom, 3 × 2-bedroom and 2 × 3-bedroom apartments. The application included new vehicle access to serve a restrained provision of 4 × off-street vehicle spaces. Croydon Council’s planning application reference was “19/00110/FUL”.
