HIGH STREET SLOUGH TRANSPORT STATEMENT
Slough Borough Council Planning Committee approve an application for a mixed-use commercial and residential development on High Street. The application was supported by KRONEN’s Transport Statement. The proposal was for 2 × commercial units and 46 × flats with limited off-street parking spaces. Slough BC planning reference was “P/03079/018” for the “Construction of a three storey roof extension and conversion of the first and second floor to provide 46 residential units (Use Class C3); re-provision of 2 commercial units (Use Class E) at ground floor; associated cycle parking, refuse storage; roof garden; new residential access to the front (north) elevation; and upgrades to the high street facade” at 190-192, High Street, Slough, SL1 1JS. APPROVED RESIDENTIAL HMO APPLICATIONS AND PARKING SURVEYS IN PONDERS END
Enfield Council recently approved 2 × planning applications for car free House in Multiple Occupation redevelopments in Ponders End. KRONEN were working for Axis Developments. The applications were supported by KRONEN’s Parking Survey reports carried out in accordance with the “Lambeth Methodology” (‘Lambeth Council Parking Survey Guidance Note‘ (Lambeth Council, 2021)). The site is just outside the Ponders End town centre boundary and streets are outside Permit Controlled Parking Zone with parking stress of 90%. Enfield Council’s planning references and descriptions were “22/01210/FUL” for the “Change of use from a residential dwelling (Use Class C3) to a house in multiple occupation for up to seven individual tenants” (Sui Generis). “22/01214/FUL” for the “Change of use from a residential dwelling (Use Class C3) to a house in multiple occupation (Use Class C4) for up to six individual tenants”. LINKED APPEALS ALLOWED FOR CAR FREE DEVELOPMENT IN STANMORE HARROW, SUPPORTED BY KRONEN PARKING SURVEYS
The Planning Inspectorate recently allowed linked appeals for car free development in Stanmore in London Borough of Harrow. The applications were: P/2585/21 for Redevelopment to provide two storey building with habitable roofspace comprising of eight flats (6 x 1 bed and 2 x 2 bed); landscaping; bin and cycle stores (demolition of existing dwelling and outbuilding) P/0337/22 for Redevelopment to provide two storey building with habitable roofspace comprising of eight flats (6 x 1 bed and 2 x 2 bed); landscaping; bin and cycle stores (demolition of existing dwelling and outbuilding) The site address is 70 Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald, Harrow, HA7 3NQ. The car free developments were refused at planning committee. KRONEN supported the applications with Parking Survey reports. The Planning Inspectorate appeal references were APP/M5450/W/22/3291935 and APP/M5450/W/22/3299939. The appeals were allowed in December. APPROVED APPLICATION AND PARKING SURVEY IN HARINGEY
London Borough of Haringey approve a planning application for a new zero parking single storey plus basement dwelling in Hornsey.
